The Foyle Young People Project is a Derry based initiative for young people coming out of care into supported living.
The primary focus of the logo marque is the theme of independence, resulting in a flag as the core symbol. Due to the complexity and length of the project name, initials were used. These initials can be replaced with a wide variety of promotional or personal terms for marketing/advertising opportunities and empowering the audience.
The colour scheme is youthful and vibrant in nature and its mirrors the City of Derry colours, reflecting the core catchment area. Primary text is set in uppercase to convey authority, underpinning the ‘serious’ nature of the project. The type choice is however more humanist and rounded, appearing less dictatorial than standard uppercase lettering.
